As She Walk Past, Away..

A staggering walk, as she did,
A walk past a dry tree.
With a stick in hand, may be,
To support her walk, or,
Just something to depend upon.

Ragged cloth, tied around,
And a torn bag, so heavy,
With memoirs, so burdensome,
Small feet and dull heart,
Running away from life.

Eyes searching for a smile,
A welcome and a dime,
A mouthful of words to say,
A simple sunshine, but,
None to be seen, as she walks past, away.

Stood I there, numb, seeing,
Her battle with the fate,
Questions come by with no answers along
What becomes of her now, as she,
Walks past, away.
